Recent Policy Changes:

As most patients know only too well, the administrative burden in Health Care is becoming overwhelming. More and more employers, payers, insurers, health care providers, prescription drug benefits plans and the like require various forms and paper-work to be completed. We have, consequently, begun to charge a small fee for the completion of certain forms, family leave act requisitions, and the like. While we regret the need for us to charge even a small fee, we can no longer absorb all of these ever increasing administrative costs. We will, of course, keep these fees to an absolute minimum. Thank you for your understanding.

Insurance Policy Changes

There have been some changes regarding certain insurance policies covering tests/supplies in our office. For your convenience, we now have an official Beaumont Blood Drawing Station in our office. In nearly all cases, we can now draw blood on-site. There are also certain tests and, occasionally, procedures that we may not be able to perform in the office due to increasing meddling and restrictions, as we see it, by various insurance companies. We are doing all that we can to offset this so we can provide you with as much care-on-site as possible. In such a case you will be given the appropriate information to have this done at the hospital. Orthopedic supplies (wrist splints, ankle braces etc.) may need to be obtained at a medical supply company and some policies require a referral. You will be advised of this at the time of your office visit.
